Brookhaven, GA – Stan Segal, Chairman of the City of Brookhaven’s Planning Commission, announced Wednesday that three members would not be continuing their service to the City.
Commissioners John Hess, Jack Honderd and Adrian Schmidt will end their term at the end of December.
Segal said, “The members of this commission will always be able to say that we were the first Planning Commission for the City of Brookhaven. On behalf of Mayor Davis, the City Council, the City Staff, members of this Commission and residents of our City, I’d like to say Thank You for a job well done.”
Honderd and Hess both received plaques commemorating their service to the City. Commissioner Schmidt was not present.
Community Development Director, Susan Canon said, “We see the value each one of you bring to the table. It’s interesting to watch your different personalities and expertise you have. We commend you and appreciate what you’ve done and look forward to working with you on many other things in the future.”
Commissioner John Hess thanked the staff and other Commissioners for the opportunity to work with them, “We’ve tried our best and I’ve been impressed with everybody on the Staff and on the Commission and it’s been a pleasure.”
