Brookhaven, GA, Feb. 27 – Peter Howell, Hall of Fame Tennis Coach at Brookhaven’s Oglethorpe University, will return as the director of this excellent Junior Tennis Camp for the eleventh year!
The purpose of Howell’s camp is to teach tennis in a fun environment. Each camper is placed in a group appropriate to his or her skill level. The program places emphasis on solid fundamental ground strokes, volleys and serves and especially PLAYING the game! Match play, drills and fitness are coordinated in each daily plan.
“Our staff tailors instruction to each camper’s requirements with our low student/ teacher ratio. We offer at least 30 hours of tennis instruction per session plus off-court cross training activities,” says Coach Howell. “No matter what level of proficiency you bring to camp, you will leave a vastly improved player. Our outstanding coaches and talented professionals provide a perfect blend of serious commitment to your skill development with a positive teaching style. We’ll increase your on court self-confidence and give you enough valuable insights to last a lifetime. We never forget that you’re here to have FUN!”
