DeKalb County, GA, August 10, 2016 – The Post Reports – DeKalb County School System is hosting two very important meetings centered on a Secondary School Facility Planning and Feasibility Study for Middle Schools and High Schools.
The schools involved in these discussions span the entire County and includes the Druid Hills, Tucker, Lakeside, Cross Keys, Chamblee, and Dunwoody clusters.
At these two meetings, DeKalb Schools will present recommendations for Middle and High School feeder patterns, re-clustering attendance areas, additions to schools and new/replacement schools.
The recommendations to be presented at these meetings will be available online Tuesday, August 23 at noon at: http://www.dekalb.k12.ga.us/www/secondaryschoolfacilitystudy.
An online survey will also be available at the link above on Tuesday, August 23rd at noon. This survey will run from August 23rd at noon through Thursday, September 8th at 11:59 PM.
The School system says stakeholder feedback from these meetings and online survey will be incorporated into the 2017-2022 SPLOST list (Building S.P.A.C.E.S) later this Fall.
