DeKalb County, GA, August 24, 2016 – The Post Reports – DeKalb County School District has opened up their Secondary School Facility Planning and Feasibility Study Survey and is seeking input from the public on three options formulated to address overcrowding in the Cross Keys Cluster, as well as overcrowding in other Middle and High Schools in Regions 1, 2 and Clarkston cluster.
The recommendations proposed are now available online HERE. The survey will run until Thursday, September 16th at 11:59 PM.
The schools involved in these discussions span the entire County and includes the Druid Hills, Tucker, Lakeside, Cross Keys, Chamblee, and Dunwoody clusters.
DeKalb Schools will present their recommendations for Middle and High School feeder patterns, re-clustering attendance areas, additions to schools and new/replacement schools to the Cross Keys Community on Thursday, August 25th at Cross Keys High School/ The Meeting will begin at 6:30 PM.
Cross Keys High School is located at 1626 N. Druid Hills Road NE, Brookhaven.
The School system says stakeholder feedback from these meetings and online survey will be incorporated into the 2017-2022 SPLOST list (Building S.P.A.C.E.S) later this Fall.
