Brookhaven, GA, September 9, 2016 – by Tina Simmons for The Post – The man suspected of shooting a Brookhaven resident while attempting to burglarize his home in the 1700 block of Clairmont Way last month, was arrested Thursday.
Atlanta Police Department’s (APD) Fugitive Unit captured Antwain Wolfork, 21, of Atlanta after he was located through the efforts of a joint investigation with Brookhaven Police Department (BPD). Wolfork is also a suspect in three robbery, burglary and home invasion cases in the Buckhead area.
APD says during the Buckhead home invasion and two burglaries, Wolfork used a “very detailed but fake replica AK-47” assault rifle in the commission of those crimes.
Video survellince footage and physical evidence tie Wolfork to the Atlanta crimes and Brookhaven shooting.
Wolfork has been charged with aggravated battery, armed robbery, burglary and possession of a weapon while committing a felony and is being held in the Fulton County Jail.
