According to Police, the victim told a Chamblee Police dispatcher that he was robbed at gunpoint and that the suspect fled the area in a silver vehicle. The victim followed the suspect vehicle in his car and while still on the phone with the Chamblee Police 911 Center and was to provide the suspect vehicles tag number and direction of travel.
Chamblee Police located the suspect vehicle at 3045 Buford Hwy and three occupants were inside. The occupants exited the vehicle and fled into the nearby wood line and were later apprehended with the assistance of the Brookhaven and Doraville Police K-9 units.
The victim was able to positively identify one of the occupants of the suspect vehicle as the person that robbed him at gunpoint. All three suspected were taken into custody and transported to the Chamblee Police Department pending issuance of warrants for various charges.
