Brookhaven, GA, December 19, 2016 – The Post Reports – The City of Brookhaven says the improvements being made to Clack’s Corner Park are on schedule for a January 31, 2017 completion and reopening.
According to the City, improvements will include a natural play area, community seating, a community lawn, brick paving, a community information, and a new sign. The Clack’s Corner plan is part of the individual park master plans completed by the consulting firm Greenberg Farrow in February.
Clack’s Corner is a .2 acre parcel where Howard Clack, described as “a gentle man and an artist” lived most of his life. His family preserved this land for a neighborhood greenspace in his honor.
Clack’s Corner is located at 1410 Cartecay Drive NE. in the Brookhaven Fields neighborhood.
