Chamblee, GA, January 4, 2017 – The Post Reports – According to the City of Chamblee, Clark Patterson Lee (CPL), a full-service architecture, engineering and planning firm that provides privatized government services to communities throughout metropolitan Atlanta area, began providing the City Community Development services. The City says CPL worked diligently alongside the previous staff to ensure a smooth transition between service contractors.
“Clark Patterson Lee is known for its customer service. We serve the needs of the city, first and foremost,” said Matthew Dickison, City of Chamblee Development Director in a release. “Applicants and community members can expect all employees in the process to be accessible to address questions and concerns. There will be new faces in each position, but we will provide opportunities for the public to get to know the team.”
As a part of the transition, Chamblee says the department will host an Open House for all community members, businesses and permit applicants on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., just before the City Council Meeting. CPL also developed a survey for current applicants to be released this month about the City’s existing development process. After spending time observing these processes, CPL will systematically roll out improvements in a manner that will not disrupt applications currently in process and should improve the overall experience.

Th City explains Staff will be contacting applicants that are currently in process to make introductions. Clark Patterson Lee is committed to engaging the community and serving the City of Chamblee by developing a relationship of dependability and quality of service.
