Brookhaven, GA, February 9, 2017 – The Post Reports – Montgomery Elementary’s Math Team defended its first place title at the 2nd Annual ChaMATHon at Chamblee Charter High School on Saturday, February 4th. Montgomery won both 1st and 2nd Place in the 5th grade division and 1st Place in the 3rd/4th grade division.
In addition to the team awards, the following students received awards in the Individual Competition:
3rd/4th Grade Individual Competition
- First Place: Dhruva Chayapathy
- Fourth Place: Jackson Lee
5th Grade Individual Competition
- Second Place: Owen Veith
- Third Place: Ore Fakiyesi
- Sixth Place: Orion Li Arthur
3rd/4th Grade Team Competition:
- First Place: Garrett Moore, Anish Konduri, Matthew Guo, Jackson Lee
5th Grade Team Competition
- First Place: Owen Veith, Luke Williams, Ore Fakiyesi, Gideon Zemedhun
- Second Place: Brianna Lin, Landon Brice, Edison Carter, Orion Li Arthur
