DeKalb County, GA, February 9, 2017 – The Post Reports – The DeKalb Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit reports a second arrest on was made February 8, 2017 in connection with the December 27, 2016 murder of Doraville resident William Dunbar of Pleasantbrook Village Lane.
According to the Sheriff’s office, warrants were issued on February 3, 2017 for KellyAnn Latoyia Gerrow on charges of Murder, as well as Failure to Appear, Bench Warrant; Simple Battery, Obstruction of an Officer; Operating a Vehicle without Insurance; Improper Use of License Plate; Expired Tag; and Impeding Traffic Flow. According to the warrants, Ms. Gerrow allegedly drove up to Mr. Dunbar, who was on foot, shot him in the abdomen and fled the scene.
Ms. Gerrow, 22, was apprehended on Windy Hill Road in Marietta by sheriff’s investigators and transported to the DeKalb County Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division without incident.
On January 18, 2017, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit investigators located and arrested 22 year-old Geneva Gibson, who is allegedly a co-defendant in the incident. Ms. Gibson remains custody at the DeKalb County Jail charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault.
