Chamblee, GA, March 2, 2017 – The Post Reports – The Elaine Clark Center in Chamblee, which enables children of all abilities to become confident and contributing citizens of the community through an innovative model of education, therapeutic play, and experiential opportunities, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday in celebration of a center expansion.
The new facility will include five new classrooms, a sensory gym, a new playground and gardens and a vocational training area.
For almost 40 years this center has worked with special needs kids ages 6 weeks to 22 years old. The educational services they provide help young people go on to lead productive lives and give them a skill set that would be hard to find elsewhere. The new building will double their size.
