Doraville, GA, April 5, 2017 – The Post Reports – Doraville Mayor Donna Pittman will deliver her annual State of the City address on April 28th in Flowers Park. Pittman will review the City’s key accomplishments in 2016 such as plans for a new city center, introduction of a New Peachtree Road streetscape concept and creation of the Design Doraville initiative that will provide a blueprint for growth for the next 20 years. She will also provide insight into what is planned for Doraville in 2017 and beyond.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with presentation of colors by the Dunwoody High School Color Guard, a performance by the school’s a cappella choir and a ceremonial ribbon cutting re-dedicating the newly renovated park. Popular food trucks will be on site for dining options.
A free concert by A1A, the Jimmy Buffett tribute band, will follow the mayor’s presentation at 7:30 p.m.
Doraville’s newly renovated Flowers Park is located at 5921 New Peachtree Road.
