Brookhaven, GA, April 19, 2017 – The Post Reports – Brookhaven Farmers Market (BFM) is back for its sixth season, beginning Saturday, April 22, and open every Saturday 9 AM to noon through November 18, rain or shine. This year, the market maintains the impressive roster of more than 40 vendors and the unprecedented 40% growth from the 2016 market season.
Returning vendors include customer favorites like Double B Farm, West Wind Farms, Mercier Orchards, Fat Lady Baker, Mad Mama Gourmet, Banjo Cold Brew Coffee, Pearson Farm Peaches and Pecans, and King of Pops’ farm venture King of Crops. New vendors include Dickey Farms, Bone & Co, Pecanmilk Cooperative, Valona Ocean Classics, Oy Veg Kitchen, Cheeky Maiden, Anglo Celtic Bakes, and more.
“We are thrilled to be back for a the 2017 season,” said Liz Pastor, president BFM, board of directors. “The explosive growth we experienced last year set us up to have an amazing market season this year. We are happy to be a Saturday morning destination for so many, a place where people gather in our thriving community.”
In addition to produce, market-goers will find high-demand products regularly asked for, including local honey, prepared foods, nut milk, and bone broth. Customers can sip, shop and savor local flavors like the Brookhaven Breakfast Sandwich crafted hot and fresh onsite, Banjo Cold Brew Coffee, fresh pastries, and popsicles. Market-goers will also be able to experience live music, chef demonstrations, children’s activities and special events throughout the 2017 season.
