Chamblee, GA, May 15, 2017 – The Post Reports – CONNOLLY, the developer behind a new transit oriented mixed-use development called Parkview on Peachtree, will be installing a new concrete parapet along Peachtree Boulevard. This work will result in temporary intermittent closures of the Chamblee Rail Trail.
The work, beginning Monday, May 15th, is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. The Rail Trail travels under portions of the Parkview on Peachtree project.
Parkview on Peachtree, that is set to open in 2017, is explained to be a “Walkable Shopping, Dining, Healthy Living Village designed to inspire the new model for mixed-use developments in the Southeast, by seamlessly incorporating the surrounding greenscapes, mass transit, park and fitness trails into a diverse blend of retail, office and residential space,” by its developer, CONNOLLY.
The development will feature 40,000 square feet of street front boutique retail and restaurant space, 14,000 square feet of loft offices and a total of 503 multi-family units. It will also be in walking distance to the Chamblee MARTA station.
