Chamblee, GA, May 19, 2017 – The Post Reports – Mercy Housing Southeast (MHSE) has been presented with a $6,000 grant from the Delta Community Credit Union. The grant is part of Delta Community’s Philanthropic Fund grant program. In 2017, its Philanthropic Fund will invest $100,000 in metro Atlanta organizations that support children and families.
Mercy Housing creates stable, vibrant and healthy communities by developing, financing and operating affordable, program-enriched housing for families, seniors and people with special needs who lack the economic resources to access quality, safe housing opportunities.
On May 20th, a community open house will take place where attendees can tour the new Mercy Care Chamblee clinic at 5134 Peachtree Road between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Mercy Care, a network of 13 fixed and mobile primary care clinics, opened its new 45,000-square-foot facility in Chamblee on April 18 featuring 32 rooms for integrated primary care and behavioral health for adults and children; eight dental operatories, and a health and wellness center with a chef’s teaching kitchen.
Delta Community Credit Union is the largest credit union in Georgia, with more than $5 billion in assets.
