- Multi-use trail
- Tree Swing

Also, as part of the ‘Phase 1’ plan, a small restroom is included pending approval of a sewer letter from DeKalb County. Parks and Recreation Director Brian Borden told The Post that particular item is being bid out as an “add alternate” item so the project can get moving along sooner, should the sewer letter continue to take time.
Bids can be submitted until 12:00 P.M. EST, local time on July 11, 2017. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., EST June 13, 2017 at Georgian Hills Park located at 2845 Georgian Dr. “The conference will include a review of the Bid Documents. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory, and is required,” says the Invitation to Bid (ITB). “Bidders are expected to be familiar with the Bid Documents and to provide the City with any questions regarding the Bid Documents at the Pre-Bid conference or by the deadline for questions to be submitted.”
Once the bids come in, the contractor is selected and the project has been approved to proceed, the Contractor has 120 days from the notice to proceed to complete the project. Should the project not be completed in the required timeframe there will be an assessment of Liquidated Damages at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day, according to the ITB.
