Chamblee, GA, August 1, 2017 — The Post Reports — Everclear will perform in Chamblee on August 4th in City Hall Park, as part of the City’s 2017 Summer Concert Series. Formed by Art Alexakis in 1991 in Portland, Oregon, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career spanning 10 studio releases, numerous videos, thousands of shows and accolades that include a 1998 Grammy nomination for Best Rock Instrumental, for the Afterglow track “El Distorto de Melodica.

The Bitteroots is an Atlanta/Decatur-based original jam-rock band founded in 2008. Fronted by female vocalist Laura Dees, the band has a sound that’s been called a “unique brand of soulful rock.” The Bitteroots’ groove-oriented approach to rock n roll has drawn comparisons to the Tedeschi-Trucks Band, Melissa Etheridge and Janis Joplin. From pop melodies to extended jams, The Bitteroots’ sets run the gamut with something for everybody.
